Music Department Holding Book Sale
to Fund W. Jerryl Davis Double Reed Scholarship
A new scholarship fund to support the future of talented double reed musicians in memory of Dr. Jerryl Davis is being established by the David L. Walters Department of Music. For initial funding, current and former JSU music faculty have donated music reference books and are hosting a Book Sale on Friday, November 16th from 10:00 a.m. - 1:45 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Mason Hall Breezeway. The Book Sale features music books and scores, as well as books on other areas of interest.

It is hoped this kick-off event will foster ongoing gifts in memory of a beloved teacher and musician. Please join us for this event, and browse through books while enjoying coffee and doughnuts. Sigma Alpha Iota will be selling coffee & hot chocolate for $1 a cup with all proceeds going to the double reeds scholarship!
