Captain Reynolds to be Promoted to Major
at JSU Army ROTC Commissioning Ceremony


Captain John Davis (J.R.) Reynolds Jr.

Captain John Davis (J.R.) Reynolds Jr. is currently serving as a Military Science I Instructor and Recruiting/Operations/Enrollment Officer in the Jacksonville State University Military Science Department. CPT Davis will be promoted to the rank of Major during the JSU Army ROTC Officer Commissioning Ceremony on Friday, August 3, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in Rowe Hall.

Captain John Davis (J.R.) Reynolds Jr. is a graduate of Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University where he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Military Police Corps.  He holds a Master of Business Administration in General Management from the University of Toledo. 

After graduation, Captain Reynolds' first assignment was as a platoon leader with the 300th Military Police Brigade in Michigan.  He subsequently served in a variety of Command and Staff positions with the 300th Military Police Brigade in Michigan, 645th Area Support Group in Ohio, and the 25th Infantry Division, Combined Joint Task Force 180 in Bagram, Afghanistan. His most recent assignment was as the Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment Commander with the 406th Corps Support Battalion in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Captain Reynolds is from Toledo, Ohio.
