Field School staff Pete Conroy, Renee Morrison, Laura Bundy, several JSU student volunteers and locals from Ft. Payne recently spent an exhilarating day with Southern Living magazine’s Travel Editor, Morgan Murphy, and Assistant Photographer, Mary Margaret Chambliss.  Southern Living plans to feature the JSU Field Schools in their December 2006 issue.  The article will include winter hiking opportunities in Northeast Alabama and the new Little River Canyon Interpretive Center. According to the Travel Editor, this magazine reaches 17.6 million readers annually. Photos were shot from Little River Canyon Overlook and at Eberhart Point by Renee Morrison.
