Jamie Langley Crowned Miss JSU 2006


Jamie Langley, the 2005-06 Miss JSU, will represent Jacksonville State University in the Miss Alabama Pageant in June. Miss Langley also won the�talent competition.�Miss Langley�is a senior majoring in communication from Wadley. The contest was held�in Leone Cole Auditorium on Nov. 18. Runners-up�are, in second place,�Emily Sheffield, left, a junior majoring in elementary education from Gadsden, and,�as first alternate, Jessica Andrews, far right, a sophomore majoring in elementary education from Alabaster, who won the�swimsuit�contest. Among the prizes and awards presented to these students, Jamie Langley receives a one-year tuition scholarship to JSU and a $1000 cash award. Emily Sheffield receives a one-semester tuition scholarship to JSU; Jessica Andrews receives a $500 tuition scholarship to JSU. All three receive prizes and awards from local merchants.
