Auditions for Spring 2006 Musical Nov. 21 & 22
The JSU Drama and Music Departments will hold auditions for the Spring 2006 musical, "CRAZY FOR YOU," on Monday, November 21 and Tuesday, November 22 at 7:00 p.m. on the Mainstage of Ernest Stone Performing Arts Center. All are welcome to audition. There are numerous roles available for actors, singers, and especially tap-dancers.

Anyone wishing to audition should come prepared with a song to sing. You will need to bring sheet music in the key for your voice for the accompanist, or you may bring your own accompanist. Unaccompanied singing is not recommended.

It is recommended that you try to attend both evenings' auditions. Also, dress comfortably as there may be a brief movement audition.

While townspeople and non-Drama majors are encouraged to audition, the policy has always been that if the directors believe that an enrolled student will be able to perform the role, the student will be cast prior to a non-student.

The production of "CRAZY FOR YOU" will run February 16-19 and 23-26, 2006. Rehearsals will begin shortly after the new year and are usually from 6:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. nightly until opening. For further information, please call 256-782-5648.
