Vigil Promotes Domestic-Violence Awareness
The glow of candles fought against a brisk wind in Jacksonville Square Wednesday night to commemorate Brandi, Nicole, and a nine-page list of others who have fallen prey to domestic violence. The candlelight vigil, “Take Back the Night,” was the primary event of Jacksonville State University’s Relationship Violence Week, established to raise awareness about relationship violence.
