TV 24 to Air Drum & Bugle
Corps Show Starting Saturday

Drumcorps Attending Oxford Show Competition on July 18

WJXS, TV24, will air a two-hour special production of the July 18 SPIRIT OF AMERICA Drum & Bugle Corps Competition held at the Oxford High School Stadium. The show features Spirit of JSU.

The air dates are as follows:

• 4 p.m. Saturday, August 6
  
  
• 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 10
  
  
• 4 p.m. Saturday, August 13

Mike Hathcock, director of television services at JSU, said, "We used six cameras to produce the show, and it will be an outstanding show to watch." The production was entirely handled by television services and JSU students.

Spirit, JSU's drum and bugle corps, performed one of its two “home shows” during this competition. Spirit has been associated with Jacksonville State University since 2001.
