Native American Pow Wow Nov. 12–14

29 October, 2004 — Jacksonville State University celebrates Native American Heritage Month with its 2nd Annual Native American Pow Wow, November 12, 13 & 14 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. each day in front of the Theron Montgomery Building, with the grand entry beginning at 11:00 a.m.

This event is featuring the Native American Honor Guard and Warrior Society. The Bucks from Milwaukee, Wisconsin—Competition Winning Northern Style Drums—who are serving as the Host Drum, Little Warriors as the Youth Drums, John "Bullet" Standingdeer as the Headman, and Jonathan Feather as Master of Ceremonies.

There will be intertribal dancing and hoop dancing. All dancers are welcome.

There is no admission charge. Bring your own chairs. For more information contact Multicultural Services Office at 782-5886.
