Diversity Workshop Nov. 1—2

26 October, 2004 — The Office of the Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs, the College of Education and Professional Studies and the Office of Human Resources are jointly sponsoring a Diversity Workshop. The workshop will be presented by Dr. Jerry Rabow and his colleagues with the Center for the Celebration of Diversity Through Education.

Dr. Rabow does diversity training and education in the private and public sectors and is the co-founder of CCODE. Dr. Rabow earned his Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of Michigan and is a Professor Emeritus at the University of California-Los Angeles.

The two-day workshop will be held in the Gamecock Center in Stephenson on Monday, November 1 and Tuesday, November 2. The program will be begin at 9:00 a.m. each day. There is no admission charge

The agenda for day one of the workshop includes activites and exercises designed to increase awareness of diversity issues and day two will serve as a "train the trainer" session to prepare individuals to present further diversity programs on campus.
