December 16, 2003 -- “A Closer Christmas,” a joint production of Jacksonville
State
University’s Television Services
Department and WJXS TV24, will air for the first time on Wednesday December
17th at 6:30 p.m. The one hour Christmas Special was taped
at the home of Phil and Denise Webb in the Golden Springs area of
Calhoun
County. It features choirs, trios, soloists,
praise teams and musicians from several area churches and the community. “A Closer Christmas” was hosted by
TV24’s Rodney Greenwood and JSU’s Mike Hathcock. It will air several times during the
holiday season and hopefully will become an annual event.
