November 20, 2003 -- Jacksonville State University Assistant Professor of
Education Dr. Judy McCrary, the KDE Club and other JSU faculty members have
raised over $1300 for a Romanian orphanage by selling Romanian children's
artwork.
The winter-themed artwork was copied onto greeting cards and sold for $10 per pack.
All proceeds will be delivered to the Romanian Orphanage #2 in Bucharest, Romania,
by a local church this Christmas. These cards will be
available again in the spring for a second fundraiser.
The artwork will be showcased on WJXL TV 24 on December 4. Contact Dr. Judy McCrary at 782-5167 or
