JSU Field School Offers
"Fall Color Tour" Program

October 24, 2003 -- Take a driving/hiking tour of the Shoal Creek Ranger District and discover unique areas that are rarely seen by the public.  Learn about the ecology and geology of the national forest as the flora and fauna changes from the bottomlands to the ridge tips.  The district archaeologist will also highlight the colorful cultural heritage of the area.  Bring a lunch, water, field guides, and a camera to explore the breathtaking scenery of autumn in the forest.  Pre-registration is required.

JSU's Little River Canyon Field School is now accepting reservations for this program.  Those interested are encouraged to call 256-782-5697 for additional information and reservations.  Please be sure to sign up early for future activities of the JSU Field Schools!
