October 24, 2003 --
Learn to plan, design, and develop a wildflower/native plant garden. Join Bill Martin and other native plant
gardeners to hear a variety of approaches to plantings, species, and designs.
After lunch, we will plant an assortment of native flowers, shrubs, and trees at
DeSoto State Park. Bring appropriate clothing and a lunch (or eat at the
park restaurant). Pre-registration is required.
JSU's Little River Canyon Field School is now
accepting reservations for this program. Those interested are encouraged
to call Matt Beall at 256-782-5697 for additional information and reservations. Please
