JACKSONVILLE -- October 17, 2002 --
Jacksonville State University's Up 'til Dawn executive board, along with the JSU fraternity Kappa Sigma, will be
hosting a pumpkin carving and costume contest on October 31 from 4:30 p.m.
to 6:30 p.m. The event, which is open to the community, will be held on
the front lawn of Montgomery building at Jacksonville State University.
"It's a great alternative to trick-or-treating," said Up 'til Dawn
co-director, Jamie Eubanks. "It's safe, it's fun and it's for a good cause."
All proceeds from the event will benefit JSU's Up 'til Dawn program which
raises money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
