JSU Professor To Retire -- Sort Of.... |

JACKSONVILLE -- December 5, 2001 --
Professor George W. Trivoli, Ph.D. will retire from Jacksonville State
University, College of Commerce and Business Administration (CCBA), at the end
of December 2001 fall semester.
Dr. Trivoli served as professor of finance and eminent scholar for CCBA for
ten
years while at JSU. He plans to remain active in both his research and teaching activities. His weekly column, "Your Investing" will continue to appear in the Gadsden Times, and be distributed nationwide via the New York Times regional newspapers. In addition, Dr. Trivoli will be a regular guest on Alabama Public Television, Alabama@Work, "Your Money" program. His segments are scheduled to be broadcast on the first Friday at 6:00 p.m. (again at 8:00 p.m.) and the following Sunday at 11:00 p.m. He has also contracted with Prentice Hall Publishing Company to revise his popular book "Personal Portfolio Management" (PH 2000) for publication during 2002. Trivoli says, "I have set out an ambitious schedule for myself, I'm afraid." Current plans include his return to part-time teaching in the fall of 2002 at JSU. "We will miss all of our colleagues and friend in the area," says Trivoli. "We look forward to returning occasionally to teach or visit." |
