JACKSONVILLE -- November 5, 2001 --
The Calhoun County Civic Chorale will be presesting its Winter Concert, "Christmas Music from Europe and America, "
on Sunday, December 2, 2001 at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, 3:00 p.m. The Civic Chorale is one of
the Jacksonville State University Music Department choral ensembles under the direction of JSU Director of Choral
Activities, Dr. Patricia Corbin. Dr. Gail Steward, new JSU Associate Professor of Piano, is the Chorale's accompanist.
The featured work on the program is Benjamin Brittens' Ceremony of Carols, which will be accompanied by Susan
Ottzen, harpist.
