Card Designed to Commemorate
JSU's 125th Birthday

 
 
As The Friendliest Campus in the South enters a celebration of its 125th birthday this 22nd day of February, two thousand and eight, this birthday card was designed by Angie Finley, Office of Institutional Research and Assessment, Jacksonville State University to mark the occasion.
 
This card depicts a montage of images celebrating JSU's Quasquicentennial including (clockwise from top left): The State Normal School Class of 1892; the Quasquicentennial Seal, Bibb Graves Hall and the Bell; the University Crest, a Marching Southerner; Calhoun College Building, JSU's first home; a happy graduate at the 2007 summer commencement.
