JSU Field Schools: A festival of thanks…to YOU!!!   How can we say THANK YOU to all of you who dedicated time and energy to the success of our 3rd Annual Mountain Longleaf Festival? To our volunteers, sponsors, exhibitors, artists, musicians, vendors, and participants: you made thousands of people smile…and increased environmental and arts education with your talents, dedication, knowledge and pizzazz!   Thousands of folks from three states enjoyed the sunshine, live music, colorful arts exhibits and demonstrations, great food, children’s pass port stations, live animals, fresh market, archaeology exhibits, plant sales, environmental and ecotourism booths, games, rides and more!! Sponsored by Noble Bank, Legacy, Inc. and many others whose generous contributions made this event possible and benefited the children of Calhoun County through Boys and Girls Clubs, LINC and JSU Field Schools.   Please put our 4th Annual Mountain Longleaf Festival on your calendar for April 19, 2008.  With this type of extreme success, now is never too early to begin planning!   Zaps from the festival…
