Essentials of River Safety:
Instructors Certification Course

The American Canoe Association (ACA) Instructor of the Year, Gordon Black and JSU’s Dr. Jimmy Griffin will teach this intense instructor certification course to those who want to know the deeper skills of paddling and river safety. Excellent opportunity for expert paddlers, scout leaders, recreation majors, etc.

Date:     Wednesday – Friday, June 13-15, 2007

Where:  Pete Mathews Coliseum Room 326 - Jacksonville State University               and Terrapin Creek

Time:     Wednesday Night:  6 p.m.–9 p.m. - Pete Mathews Coliseum Room 326
              Jacksonville State University

              Thursday:  9 a.m.–5 p.m. - Terrapin Creek

              Friday:  9 a.m.-4 p.m. - Terrapin Creek

              Fee:  Usually $250.  Through JSU Field School this month - only $125.
