JSU Field Schools’ Family Adventure Weekend at the Great Smoky Mountain Institute at Tremont, TN (February 10-12, 2006) JSU Field Schools coordinated an exciting family adventure weekend at the Great Smoky Mountain National Park’s Field School at Tremont. Campers arrived to a few scattered snow flurries on Friday night, enjoyed about four inches of snow through Saturday and woke up to eight inches of snow on Sunday morning. During the weekend, families -- 35 folks -- participated in cooperation games, interpretive hikes, storytelling, music, snow play and more. The JSU Field School hopes to offer this program annually…so, mark your calendar for February 2007!
