Learning by the Lake Series: Nature for Kids!!

Join United States Forest Service biologists and JSU Field School experts for an interesting hour of educational fun at Coleman Lake Recreational Area in the Talladega National Forest. Take advantage of the beautiful location and camp for the weekend! Family friendly.

Date:     Saturday, June 10, 2006 (See 2nd Saturdays May – October)
Where:  Coleman Lake Recreational Area (near Heflin, AL)
Time:     1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Fee:       $3 day use fee at entrance; camping fees apply for overnight

What?

JSU Field Schools are partnering with the United States Forest Service (Shoal Creek District) to offer this educational and entertaining series. A different topic will be covered at each program.  Topics include: Endangered Species, Nature for Kids with Live Critters, Butterflies, Forest Ecology, and Rural Legends & Mostly Ghostly Stories.
