JSU Women Claim All-Sports Trophy
For the second year in a row, the Gamecocks will claim the OVC Women’s All-Sports Trophy. Despite claiming only two conference championships — golf and rifle — the JSU women amassed 72.5 points in the 10 sports that comprise the standings, 2.5 points ahead of instate rival Samford. Last year, they edged Eastern Kentucky by 4.5 points for the school’s first all-sports trophy since leaving Division II in 1993.
