Clecker Shines again in JSU Win

Nick Cleckler tied an Ohio Valley Conference record and a Jacksonville State school record after finishing 6-for-6 and extended his hitting streak to 22 games to lead the Gamecocks to a 12-1 OVC win over UT-Martin on Sunday. The Hatton native also set a JSU school record by recording seven consecutive hits, dating back to his bunt single in the double-header finale on Saturday. He is just one hit away from tying the school record for consecutive games with a hit at 23 games, held by Michael Helms in the final 23 games of the 2001 season.
