Services for Janice Hopper March 3
Graveside Services will be held Friday, March 3 at 2:00 p.m. at Crestwood Cemetery for Mrs. Janice B. Hopper, age 69 of Gadsden who died Tuesday, February 28, 2006. Pastor Randy Gunter will officiate; Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services, directing.

Mrs. Hopper was a native and lifelong resident of Etowah County. She was a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church where she volunteered in the church office and a former secretary at Jacksonville State University, Gadsden Campus. Mrs. Hopper was preceded in death by her parents: Bill and Eva Biddle and sister-in-law Julia Biddle.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Hopper, who is retired from Jacksonville State University as the vice president for institutional advancement and two sons Mike Hopper, of Birmingham, and Mark Hopper, of Huntsville; a daughter-in-law Kelly (Mike's wife); and a granddaughter Morgan Hopper; and two grandsons, David and Tyler Hopper. Other survivors include a brother Billy Biddle, of Ft. Payne; a niece Tammy Grover and newphew Greg Biddle.

Pallbearers will be Greg Biddle, Vance Grover, Lee Roberts, Dee Grimes, Mark Weaver, David Dowling, Bruce, Johnny and Glenn Leslie. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meadowbrook Baptist Church or the Hopper Scholarship Fund at Jacksonville State University.
