One Man’s Personal Landscape

Pete Conroy recently received the Anniston Star’s Citizen of the Year award. Because of Conroy’s diverse interests, area residents now enjoy summer concerts at McClellan and admire its thousands of daffodils and tulips, planted during his “Bombs to Bulbs” campaign. The idea is that if you have beautifully preserved and vibrant places, economic development will follow, he said. See story at The Anniston Star's website: www.annistonstar.com.
