"Keys to Homeownership" Workshop June 16

The workshop "Keys to Homeownership" is being held at the Anniston City Meeting Center in Meeting Room B, located at 1615 Noble Street in Anniston from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. this Thursday evening, June 16. The workshop is one in a series of Financial Literacy Education programs sponsored by AmSouth Bank and Calhoun County Saves.

The program presents information on affordable housing and down payment assistance programs. There will be presentations by a professional realtor, mortgage lender, and a closing attorney.

The workshop is free to the public. Program sponsors include Alabama Cooperatives Extension System, Alabama Power, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, AmSouth Bank, Colonial Bank, F&M Bank, Solutia, and SouthTrust Bank. For more information call Mr. Isaac Chappell, Jr. at (256)237-1621.
