Faculty Recital by Pianist Steward

7 March 2005 — Performances by faculty members of the David L. Walters Department of Music continue as Gail Steward, piano, presents a Faculty Recital on Tuesday, 8 March at 7:00 p.m. in Mason Hall Performance Center.

Dr. Steward appears frequently throughout the south and midwest as recitalist, collaborative musician, clinician and adjudicator. She is also a composer and this evening’s performance will be comprised entirely of her own compositions. She will be assisted by other department faculty and students including Mrs. Teresa Stricklin, soprano, Dr. Jerryl Davis, oboe and Jeremy Benson, flute.

Dr. Steward holds degrees from Manchester College, Memphis State University and Ball State University. She has been a member of the music faculty at Jacksonville State University since 2001.

Admission for this program is free and the public is cordially invited to attend. Parking is conveniently located adjacent to Mason Hall.
