Little River Canyon Winter Hike Feb. 12

31 January, 2004 — Experience the challenge and splendor of Little River as geologist Kelly Gregg guides you on a 6-mile adventure through DeSoto State Park and along Little River on Saturday, February 12. Teachers will receive .5 CEU credits for participating on this hike.

Bring a daypack with food and water. Sturdy footwear and layered clothing are recommended. This is a moderate hike. Pre-registration is required. Meet at DeSoto State Park Nature Center or shuttle on JSU Van from Martin Hall. Early shuttle from JSU is being provided for transportation.
