JSU Tsunami Relief


12 January, 2005 — The recent tsunami devastated coastal regions of the Indian Ocean. To date over 147,000 persons have been reported killed and over 5 million have been left homeless.

You are challenged to give generously in response to this overwhelming need. We have set a goal of raising $10,000. Campus organizations are challenged to give a minimum of $1.00 per active member. Those not involved in campus groups are also encouraged to give in donation boxes.

Additional donations can be sent to the address below or dropped off at the Baptist Campus Ministries center or the Student Activities Office. Funds need to be turned in to the BCM by noon on Jan. 31.

On January 31 at 6:00 p.m., participating groups are invited to attend the SGA Senate Meeting in the TMB Auditorium where a presentation of a check will be made. (Representatives will have an opportunity for a picture for their group's scrapbook).
