It’s Taking Two Exhibitions to Show Student Works This Year |
By Sherry Kughn JSU News Bureau March 5, 2004 -- There are so many Jacksonville State University student artists with outstanding work in this year’s BA & BFA Senior Show that the show has been split into two exhibitions. On Tuesday, March 30, the first show will begin from Various media of student works will be displayed, such as graphic arts, painting, photography, and ceramics. A call for entries has been issued for the twenty-fifth annual Mini-Works on Paper Exhibition. Deadline is April 12. The event has earned a national reputation. More than $1,000 in prize money is available. Three entries per artist may be submitted for $15. Each entry must be no larger than a dollar bill and no smaller than one-half a dollar bill. will be artist Bob Shelton. His work is in the collections of the American
Embassy in Top prize in the Mini-Works show will be $300 given to Best of Show. Mailed entries must arrive at JSU by April 12. Include the entry fee, notification card, a self-addressed, stamped envelope and a self-addressed stamped package for the return of work.
