February 3, 2004 -- A JSU Peer Educators Interest Meeting is being held on February 9th & 11th
in Room 303 of the Theron Montgomery Building from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. Counseling and Career Services
is presenting this meeting which focuses on explaining the definition of a peer educator,
their duties and responsibilities, and the requirements of a peer educator. The peer
educators class is three credit hours. It offers outreach programs on-campus and in
the local community on subjects such as alcohol and drugs, choosing a major, stress
management, etc.
There is no admission charge to attend this meeting.
