JSU Peer Educators Win Area 8 Program of the Year



JSU Peer Educators - 2002-2003



April 17, 2003 -- Congratulations to the Jacksonville State University Chapter of Bacchus & Gamma, better known as the JSU Peer Educators. In only their second year as an organized group, the JSU Peer Educators have been named Area 8 Program of the Year. Area 8 includes universities from Alabama, such as Auburn, Alabama, and South Alabama; also universities from Tennessee, Memphis University, University of Tennessee; Mississippi, such as Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and a variety of other schools. Therefore, the JSU Peer Educators are to be complimented and congratulated on such a prestigious award, which is well deserved. The Peer Educators were recognized at a special Awards Ceremony held on April 8, 2003 in the Gamecock Center of Stephenson Hall.

The JSU Peer Educators would like to verbalize their support to the administration of JSU and to the students who support and request activities throughout the year.
