JACKSONVILLE -- May 17, 2002 --
Jacksonville State University’s Taste of the Town Children’s Theater returns this year with a new
musical re-telling of the classic favorite Snow White. Written by JSU alumnus Eric Traynor, the
play will include all the classic elements of the fairy tale with enough new fresh turns and twists that
will be sure to delight all kids from ages three to 93.
Traynor, a 1986 graduate, runs the Storybook Theater Company in Greensboro, North Carolina.
He is constantly writing new children’s plays and has written, directed and appeared in several
previous Taste of the Town Children’s Theater productions.
The show runs July 9 through13 and 15 through 19 at 1:00 p.m. daily. All tickets are $5.00 and
can be purchased at the door. Reservations are preferred and can be made by calling (256)
