JACKSONVILLE -- June 1, 2001 -- Brooke Lynn Bell of Cookeville, Tenn., a junior at JSU majoring in criminal
justice, was awarded the Phi Eta Sigma Scholarship for the new school
semester.
Each year the Phi Eta Sigma national headquarters holds a
scholarship competition.
There are over 250 chapters in this
honor society and each is allowed to submit one or two students to compete
for this award.
JSU's chapter has had three straight winners and
five in the past eight years.
Ms. Bell will receive a $1,000
Scholarship to continue her undergraduate studies.
