Josie Connell Awarded Alabama Broadcasters Association Scholarship |

JACKSONVILLE -- May 25, 2001 --
Jocelyn (Josie) Connell, a senior majoring in communication at JSU, is
recipient of an
Alabama Broadcasters Association scholarship. Josie holds a perfect 4.0 grade point average at JSU. Two scholarships of $1,000 each are awarded to assist students in the current academic year. The Alabama Broadcasters Association Scholarship Fund was created to help elevate broadcast journalism training and professional journalism standards in the state and thereby to lead all Alabamians to a better understanding of their community, state, nation and world. |
