Have you missed important voice mail messages because the indicator light
on your phone failed to work?
If so, the problem probably happened due to a power outage or similar
electrical disturbance. According to the Phone Center, the problem can be
cleared up by checking your voice mail and clearing any messages. This
"re-sets" the system.
According to a campus operator, it's a good idea to check your voice mail
at least once a week whether the red light is glowing or not.
