Jacksonville -- April 9, 2001 --
Jacksonville State University Eminent Scholar Glen Browder will chair
an upcoming panel on
chemical weapons in Washington, DC.
Dr. Browder will chair the panel on "Russian and American Chemical
Weapons Destruction"
at a Global Green Legacy Program Conference "Toward a Sustainable and
Secure World",
April 24-25, 2001. Global Green USA is the American affiliate of Green
Cross International,
which is headed by former Soviet Union leader Mikhail S. Gorbachev. The
conference is
co-hosted by Congressmen Edward J. Markey (D-MA) and Christopher Shays
(R-CT).
