JSU To Host Spring Blood Drive |

Eubanks JSU News Bureau JACKSONVILLE -- March 14, 2001 -- Jacksonville State University will host its spring blood drive on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 20 and 21, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Theron Montgomery Building (TMB). And for donating you'll get a FREE t-shirt. After a hurricane, earthquake or other natural disaster, victims shouldn't have to worry about a national blood shortage. But that is frequently the case. Most Red Cross regions are operating on less than a day's supply of blood. So this is why it's so important to give. And a majority of the blood collected during non-summer months comes from high school- and college-aged students. JSU's blood drive plays a great role in supplying this precious life source. So roll up your sleeve and give the gift of life on March 20 and 21. |
