Women of JSU Panel Discussion

03/19/2017

A "Trailblazing Women of JSU" exhibit is on display in the library lobby.

JSU’s celebration of Women’s History Month continues on March 28 with a panel discussion featuring prominent JSU women at 2 p.m. on the 11th floor of the Houston Cole Library. The event is free and open to the public.

While attending the panel discussion, be sure to check out the Trailblazing Women of JSU display in the library lobby. Curated by librarian Charlcie Pettway Vann, it features former staff member Pearl Williams and softball coach Jana McGinnis. Also, located near the circulation desk, librarian Kim Westbrooks has organized a display honoring our nation’s first woman and first African-American to head the Library of Congress, Dr. Carla Hayden.

Happy Women’s History Month!
