A Cappella Choir, Calhoun County Civic Chorale, and Brass Choir to present Spring Concert on March 6

On Sunday, March 6, the Jacksonville State University A Cappella Choir, Calhoun County Civic Chorale, and Brass Choir will join forces to present their spring concert. A Cappella Choir and the Civic Chorale are under the direction of JSU Director of Choral Activities, Dr. Patricia Corbin and will be accompanied on the concert by Dr. Lorna Lee Curtis. The JSU Brass Ensemble is under the direction of Dr. Casey Thomas.

The choirs will be presenting a concert of psalm settings, including Leonard Bernstein’s "Chichester Psalms" and Felix Mendelssohn’s "As the Hart Pants" (Psalm 42).
