Gallery to Open With 'Instill' on September 3

09/01/2015

The opening reception for Instill, a multimedia art show featuring work by former and current Jacksonville State University Art Department faculty, will be Thursday, Sept. 3 from 5-7 p.m. The show will be on display through Sept. 24 in our newly remodeled Hammond Hall Gallery.

Along with Instill there will also be two other shows opening the same night. The first, on display in the department's Roundhouse gallery, features photography by Hannah Lauren McCauley. McCauley received her BFA in photography from JSU and is currently seeking her master's degree from Louisiana Tech University. The second will be Blake Dodgen, MFA candidate, who will display artwork in our student art gallery.

The public is invited to attend the free opening night receptions for these three shows; light refreshments will be provided. For more information, please contact Ray Wetzel in the Art Department office at 256-782-5781.
