Reminder: 2014-2015 PRISM, Compliance Assist Planning and Budget Requests Due December 16

It is once again time to begin planning for the 2014-2015 academic year. The deadline for updating your unit’s operational plans and budget requests in PRISM/Compliance Assist is December 16, 2013. A step by step user guide for PRISM/Compliance Assist Planning is available when you log in to Compliance Assist or by request by emailing Kim Presson at kpresson@jsu.edu
You are encouraged to carefully consider your goals, objectives and SLOs by marking them as “ongoing” if you will continue to report on them, “complete” if you will no longer be reporting on them, and by establishing new ones where necessary. Also you should consider changing any Methods of Measurement if your data suggests improvement is not occurring.
Also, please ensure that the relationship between the University’s goals and your unit’s goals are made in PRISM/Compliance Assist. Remember, PRISM/Compliance Assist documents make visible each unit’s process of continuous improvement, and we need 100% compliance across campus for this important activity.
Thank you to all of the units who completed your 2008-2013 PRISM/Compliance Assist reports for use in the SACS Compliance Report. We were able to use a good sample from various areas of the University for inclusion in the Report. If you did not complete reporting for 2008-2013, please finalize all reports by December 16th as well.
We are offering a hands-on refresher PRISM/Compliance Assist Planning class to all who are interested on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 from 2-4 in the computer lab in the basement of the Library. If you are interested in attending this class, please email Kim Presson at kpresson@jsu.edu by Friday, November 15, 2013. If you are interested in training but cannot attend that class, please email Kim to make other arrangements.
