JSU EM and Nursing Department to Host "Get Ready Day"

September is National Preparedness Month, which draws recognition to the importance of preparedness and working together to enhance national security, resilience, and readiness.  By planning for emergencies, individuals can protect themselves and their families while also contributing to their communities’ resilience. To assist individuals in emergency preparedness plans, the JSU Department of Emergency Management and the JSU Nursing Department, as part of the Volunteer Generation Fund program, will host Get Ready Day on September 17, 2013. 

Venues will be set up around the JSU campus at Jack Hopper Dining Hall (outside), Library (lobby), Mathews Coliseum (lobby), Bibb Graves (lobby), Montgomery Building (outside the bookstore),  Stephenson Hall (lobby), Martin Hall (lobby), Self Hall (lobby), Mason (lobby), Hammond (lobby), Ramona Wood (lobby), Stone Center (lobby), Rowe Hall (lobby), and Merrill Hall (lobby). Participants can come by any of the 14 venues beginning at 9:00 a.m. on September 17, 2013 to receive more information. Admission is free.
