07/26/2013
The Delta Epsilon chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi at Jacksonville State University recently won several awards at the sorority’s 52nd International Convention. Convention was held on June 26-June 30, 2013 in Chicago where Delta Epsilon was represented by Sally Register, chapter president; Danleigh McDaniel, Vice President of Administration; Katelyn Cooper, Vice President of Membership Recruitment; and Kelsey Cain, Vice President of Education.
Most impressively, AOII at JSU received an award for Excellence in Membership Recruitment. This means that out of hundreds of AOII chapters, Delta Epsilon was recognized as having one of the most successful recruitments and recruiting the best new members on campus.
Delta Epsilon received the Ruby Award, a prestigious award only given to top AOII chapters across the United States and Canada. The chapter also received Campus Total Honor Roll, Quota Honor Roll, Strike Out Arthritis Recognition, and the Achievement in Fundraising Award for Foundation Support.
AOII at JSU encourages any incoming female students to register for sorority recruitment. To register for Panhellenic Formal Recruitment, go to http://www.jsu.edu/studentlife/greek/panhellenic_council/recruitment-overview.html
