JSU Fans to Get First Glimpse of Gamecocks at J-Day Spring Game on April 12

Jacksonville State fans will get the opportunity to see the Gamecock football team in action under new coach Bill Clark at the J-Day Spring Football Game on Friday, April 12 at 6:30 p.m. at Burgess-Snow Field at JSU Stadium.

 
The annual spring game is a FREE event and there are plenty of fun activities for the entire family.
 
The timeline for the day includes:

1 p.m.: Gamecock Tailgate opens – Come out early and tailgate with your friends and family in the Kennamer Hall lawn
 
4 p.m. – JSU Student Tailgate on Dillon Field  - Musical performance by Rocky DeVotie
 
4:30 p.m. - Kid's Field Day – All kids 12 & under are invited to Gamecock Field for fun activities. Gamecock Field is located outside the east endzone under the video board.
 
4:30 p.m. – Stadium Suites open to all suite holders for early admission into the Stadium. (If you plan to use your suite, you must contact Michelle Blair Jones with The Colonnade by Tuesday, April 9)
 
5 p.m. – Gates open to the public
 
5 p.m. -  Select-A-Seat Program – Fans can tour the stadium club level with athletics staff members and select the seat that they want to purchase as a season ticket for the 2013 football season
 
5:30 p.m. – The Marching Southerners and JSU Cheerleaders will enter the stadium
 
6:30 p.m. – Kickoff of the J-Day Red and White Spring Game
 
*Please note that concessions will be open at 5 p.m. and they will be offering a value pack for fans, which includes a Hot Dog and Drink for $3.
