Twelve Campus Buildings Will Have Planned Power Outages Late Friday Through Saturday, June 29-30

(Editor's Note: In addition to the following new announcement regarding scheduled power outages, a power outage has been scheduled for Ramona Wood Building and Pannell Hall on Friday, June 29. Power will be turned off at approximately 7:30 am and should be cut back on by 4:30 pm. This outage is necessary for the safety of the roofing contractors re-roofing Pannell Hall. The workers will be working on a section of roof that has transmission lines passing within an unsafe distance from their working area. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.)
A power outage will occur Friday afternoon (June 29) at the close of business (4:30 pm) and power will remain off until work is completed on Saturday for the following buildings:
- Mason Hall
- Fitzpatrick Hall
- Curtiss Hall
- Field House
- Salls Hall
- Leone Cole Auditorium
- Daugette Hall
- Hammond Hall
- Computer Center
- TMB
- Stephenson Hall
- Kennamer Hall
- Kitty Stone Elementary
The construction of a new parking lot along Forney Street requires relocating power poles and major power lines to begin this project. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
