Spring 2012 Faculty IDEA Grants Recipients Selected

05/11/2012

Four faculty were selected to receive IDEA Professional Development Grants, provided by the Office of Provost and Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs, for their students’ participation in the spring 2012 IDEA evaluations. Dr. Aaron Garrett from the Department of Mathematical, Computing, and Information Sciences; Dr. Benjamin Boozer from the Department of Finance, Economics, and Accounting; Ms. Tina Dooley from the College of Nursing and Health Sciences; and Dr. Edric Ha from the Department of Secondary Education were selected on April 30 using a computerized random selection from 102 classes with IDEA response rates of 85% or higher.

The overall response rate was 41.20%. It increased by 0.11 percentage points from fall 2011. However, the number of classes reaching response rates of 85% decreased by 5%. The lists of courses reaching the 85% response rate are presented below by college.
