A Cappella Choir, Chamber Singers to Present March 18 Spring Concert

On Sunday, March 18, 2012 at 3:00 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church in Anniston the JSU A Cappella Choir and Chamber Singers will present their Spring Concert. Both choirs are under the direction of Dr. Patricia Corbin, JSU Director of Choral Activities, and will be accompanied by Meg Griffin.

Chambers Singers will perform secular works by such composers as David Dickau, Giacomo Rossini, Camille Saint-Saëns and Robert Schumann. A Cappella Choir will perform several seasonal sacred selections, including Marc-Antoine Charpentier’s mini oratorio, Le Reniement de St. Pierre (St. Peter’s Denial). JSU Marching Southerners drum major and French horn player, Daniel Marshall, will be a guest soloist.
