Th'Burning, a Production Dedicated to Rev. Fred Shuttlesworth, Will Be Feb. 24-25

Celebrate Black History Month and help the JSU Black Alumni Association's Scholarship Fund in the process through attendance at the world premiere of Th'Burning, a production dedicated to the Reverend Fred Shuttlesworth.

The play, made possible by a grant by the Calhoun County Commission, was developed by Susan McCain and Jason Wright.

Performances will be Friday and Saturday, February 24-25 at 7:30 p.m. at the Mason Hall Performance Center on the Jacksonville State University campus. Live music by the band Jet  and a mini-feast by JSU culinary arts students will precede the Saturday, Feb. 25 performance at 6 p.m.

Tickets to the Friday night show are $5 for everyone. Tickets to the Saturday performance includes admission to the pre-performance music and reception and are $12 for students, $15 for adults.
