"The Lady With All the Answers"

"The Lady With All the Answers" starring Debby Mathews opens October 23 at McClellan Theatre and runs October 23 - 26, October 30 - November 2 and November 6 - 9.

You won't want to miss this delightfully funny one-woman play about Ann Landers, the renowned advice columnist. Ms. Landers answered countless letters from lovelorn teens, confused couples, and a multitude of others in need of advice. No topic was off-limits or too hard for her. Landers kept her readers' intense interest with direct, insightful, and often humorously honest responses. But, late on a 1975 night in her upscale Chicago apartment, an unsettling twist of events confronts her with a looming deadline for a column dealing with a new kind of heart-break of her own. The one-woman show brings moments of comedy and drama as the audience becomes part of the action.

Thursday, Friday, and Saturday performances begin at 8 p.m. and Sunday matinees are at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults, $8 for students, and Thursday night admission is "pay what you want." Group rates are available for 12 or more.

The box office is now open! Call 820-CAST (2278) for reservations. Making a reservation means we have a seat for you but open seating is our seating method, unless you are a donor or an advertiser. So please get to our theatre lobby before 7:30 p.m. Thursday - Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Be aware that the final Sunday performance is always crowded, so come early if you want seats near the stage (although, there really is not a bad seat in the house!) Our donors have the privilege of the actual reserved seats.
